Idle Thoughts is a product of idle minds, which are directly related to idle hands, which apparently,
as the adage goes, are the Devil's Playground.
That would explain the pendulum-blade swingset and the pit of boiling pus at the bottom of the slide...
It is now...
Damn. I need to get in here with a broom and clear out the cobwebs...
It's been two years since I really did anything with this site, not because I didn't want to, but because I just didn't
have the time. To be honest, with all the crap that happened to spawn the hiatus I lost my motivation for te comic.
I had time to write, but it was mostly silly little stories here and there to keep me from losing my mind. I didn't
have time to draw, and getting back in the groove has been tough; I'm stll not up to where I was when I stopped, and I've
come to realize that the past timeline for the comic was an anachronism the way things are going in the entertainment industry.
The real scoop is that I've been working on converting the Beuath world into a campaign setting for the D&D 4th Edition
system as well as for the Pathfinder system. Beyond that, I've been working on an honest-to-God book, set far into the
future of the current timeline of the stories I've kind of left in limbo. I will eventually finish those stories, but
they've taken a back seat to the projects I can actually make some money off of in the future.
In the meantime, I have started a blog that contains the humorous events of the weekly tabletop game I am a part of, and I will soon begin posting the superhero
stories I and my friends have written in a new category under the Stories section.
Thecomic will eventually resume, but it's going to take time. It will probably only update once a month plus filler
and holiday occasions. I'm going to fast-forward a bit, get some things worked out, re-imagine itsome, and generally
get myself back into the groove of writing and drawing a comic. It will probably be mostly a non-serial comic when it
comes back, but the art shouldn't take as long to produce now that I've gotten a wacom tablet to help me keep everything digital.
All in all, if there's anyone still paying attention to this site, please bear with me. I'm still here.
